It was worth it. This game is a little different from the other hidden objects parts of the two older games. You are not looking for items from a list, you are looking for morphing objects and you have an indicator of how many morphing objects you need to find in a scene. In the "casual" mode the hint button refreshes quickly but hints are not available on where to go next. In this collector's edition the strategy guide gives VERY clear cut directions on what to do next if you get stuck or just want to check if you are on the right track. Just like the two older games the graphics are excellent, as are sound effects and voice acting. This is definitely another winner! I did have to look up a walkthrough on line for a few scenes that where complicated for me. The master detectives may not have any problems but there is walkthrough by Big Fish that gives a little more explanation to certain scenes if you... I won't name all of them, but one involves toe nail clippers and a very unhappy mother (think of Norman Bates)The graphics are very good. The sounds are very realistic, yet disturbing in many ways (some scenes I played without sound) The tasks are hard in places as you have so many mini-tasks to do, but the strategy guide provides instant visual help. CONS: For me, I really hate the morphing thing. It got on my last nerve because they don't make...
