This classic two-person game is easy to play and teaches strategy and critical thinking skills. This version is much like the original i.e. hard plastic cases. Some of the newer versions are all cardboard and difficult for opposing players to maneuver the game board.

Santa brought my kids Battleship. I was so excited to see a plastic version more like what I had as a kid. We didn't even play it once and its already broken. My son put the first ship in and decided he wanted to move it. He wiggled, nugged and pulled... nothing. I wiggled, nugged and pulled... nothing. I pushed up from the bottom, nothing. I pulled harder and the clear plastic snapped in half. And the dang ship is still stuck in the plastic!!! I'll try contacting Hasbro. Ok, he didn't assemble the grids correctly but the instructions don't tell you to snap the clear plastic tray into the inside of the lid and never having seen the game before, he didn't know. So I'll upgrade the game to a 5 STAR and give the assemble instructions a 1 STAR.
