Here's a quick run-down of how I got this working in Windows 7 in the hope it will help someone.1. Pop in the disc. Click install when the menu appears. Inside the case, you want to use the 2nd keycode (either the lowest one if they are arranged vertically, or the one on the right if they are horizontal when it asks for it). The next screen will list the settings used to install. Click advanced, and uncheck the box for "Run CoH when install finishes". Click next and wait for the install to finish. You now have only Tales of Valor installed. Exit. 2. Open your web browser and search for Company of Heroes patches. The result with cohpatch and relic in the url is what you want. (It should be the top result.) Download the first three patches listed under Tales of Valor. These are the patches numbered [2.500 - 2.501], [2.501 - 2.502],... The bonus...it comes with both expansion packs and it works fine on my home PC running Windows 7 home premium 64 bit. Online play is still up, supported, and fun just as ever. Seller sent the item new, nicely packaged, and in a quick and timely manner.Now I just have to wait until sometime in 2013 for Company of Hero's 2 to be released...this should hold me over until then. The new missions in the expansion packs are interesting, fun, and gripping. |
